Bel Ga Promotes Growth of Independent Farmers in Vietnam
Bel Ga JSC has been active in Vietnam for three years and has a wealth of good poultry genetics which offers new opportunities for the poultry market.

This is a milestone for our company and a good opportunity to show our commitment to our customers by producing premium quality products under the Bel Ga name while protecting the environment during production. The products are ensured to be safe and traceable along the entire production chain.
The issue of food safety is becoming increasingly important in Vietnam. That is why it is a part of our mission to contribute to the production of safe, affordable and traceable poultry products for end consumers in Vietnam and South East Asia. bộ đo phát tín hiệu 4-20mA
GLOBALG.A.P. first arrived in Vietnam in 2008 and is popular in the areas of aquaculture, fruit & vegetable, and flowers & ornamentals. However, unfortunately this is not yet the case for poultry. We are in fact something of a pioneer in this field, and for a while were not sure whether we were actually going in the right direction, as the issue was rather overwhelming at times. At the beginning, we thought we should build an HACCP system but then thanks to the advices of the local consultants, we realized that it is not sufficient for our scope. After all, quality assurance is still a new issue here.
GLOBALG.A.P. has helped us to persuade our partners (broiler farmers and slaughter houses) to set up a quality management system that is accepted by the international organization GLOBALG.A.P. or other certifications. So if Bel Ga can do it, our other partners can too, and we are happy to help them in achieving the global standard.
Moreover, if all partners in the supply chain can cooperate and agree to dispense with antibiotics, while protecting the environment as well as human and animal welfare, it will surely only be a matter of time before we can supply safe meat to all end consumers who can then lead a healthier and happier life.

– Become part of a poultry meat value chain that exports poultry meat outside Vietnam.

As we are a young company with little experience in quality management, it was difficult for us to understand the specialized terms, appreciate the checklists, recognize the risk and to set up corrective plans. We knew how to do the job but we did not have the required documents and records. So we got together and worked out a plan of action for all departments. It is really a lot of work to follow a long GLOBALG.A.P. checklist, and sometimes we were afraid we might not manage. A further difficulty is that the employees in our company mostly do physical work, so it is hard to persuade them to update all the records of daily production activities like feed intake, water, temperature, etc. Another aspect is the sizeable investments that are required for hygiene, the environment, chemical training, first aid training, technical training, etc. But we were always supported and encouraged by the Board of Directors to go through with this worth-while investment.
Achieving GLOBALG.A.P. certification was a difficult task, and staying certified will be an equally tough challenge. We look forward to the continued support of the GLOBALG.A.P. experts to strengthen our knowledge and to further develop the system.
